The Dallas Stars’ latest victory was a team effort.

Marty Turco stopped 17 shots for his fifth shutout this season, and Dallas got goals from five players in a 5-0 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday at Chicago.

“We were pretty solid all around,” Coach Dave Tippett said. “We were strong in every area, and Marty made some saves when he needed to.”

Pierre Turgeon had a goal and an assist, and Sergei Zubov, Aaron Downey, Darryl Sydor and Jere Lehtinen also scored for the Stars, who ended Chicago’s four-game unbeaten streak.

“It’s good for the team, with the emphasis on team,” Tippett said. “It’s nice to have everyone contribute and feel like they’re helping out.”

It was the 10th shutout of Turco’s career, and tied him with Toronto’s Ed Belfour for the league lead. He is 9-2-2 in his last 13 starts.

“Its a good feeling, not just for me and the ‘D’ but for the whole team,” Turco said. “The way we got the win is what excites me the most. We made it look easy.”

Minnesota 2, Carolina 1 -- Dwayne Roloson stopped 33 shots at St. Paul, Minn., and just missed his second shutout this season.

Roloson, Minnesota’s backup goaltender, was headed for his ninth career shutout until Ron Francis scored with 7:07 to play.

Roloson, who turned away six shots after Francis’ goal, is unbeaten in his last eight starts (5-0-3).

“I’ve just been trying to keep our guys in games and give ourselves a chance to win,” Roloson said. “Fortunately, we’ve gotten some timely goals.”

Cliff Ronning and Filip Kuba scored in the first period. Afterward, Minnesota was outshot, 30-9.

Calgary 3, Vancouver 3 -- Sami Salo scored a power-play goal with 4:51 left in regulation and host Vancouver rallied for a tie.

Markus Naslund scored his league-leading 21st goal and had an assist for the Canucks, who had to rally despite taking two leads in the first period.
