French Troops, Rebels Clash for Second Time

French troops clashed with rebels near Duekoue in western Ivory Coast, in their second serious engagement amid a civil war in the former colony.
Nearly 2,000 French troops are in Ivory Coast to enforce an often-violated cease-fire and protect foreigners. The French reported no injuries. The rebels could not be reached for comment.
