Gunman Fires at Crowd, Injures 4 at Fairgrounds

A great-grandmother was critically injured and three others were wounded when a gunman fired shots into a crowd attending the opening day of the Hmong International New Year celebration.
Vue Chou, 89, and her 8-year-old great-granddaughter, Maycha Vang, both of Fresno, were among the four people taken to area hospitals Thursday.
Fresno police said the four were injured after an argument erupted between two groups leaving the Fresno Fairgrounds.
