Bishop Alemany ‘Owns’ Academic Decathlon

Bishop Alemany High School of Mission Hills won the Southern California Private School Academic Decathlon for the seventh straight year Saturday.
St. Francis High from La Canada Flintridge placed second, and Rose and Alex Pilibos High School of Hollywood finished third.
The competition drew teams representing 17 schools.
The Bishop Alemany High team will go on to the state competition, which will be held March 22-23 in Modesto.
