Marine World Gives Record Amount to City
Record attendance at Six Flags Marine World last year has turned into record revenue share for the city of Vallejo.
Six Flags gave Vallejo officials a $1.1-million check which, combined with a $1.8-million advance the city got in October, gives Vallejo $2.9 million from the theme park. Vallejo Mayor Tony Intintoli said the check exceeds the city’s expectations.
Last year, the city received $2.3 million from Six Flags as part of the management agreement between the city, which owns the park, and Six Flags, which operates the park.
