Woman Hurt by Casino Bus Awarded $13 Million
A Norwalk woman who was severely injured by a shuttle bus was awarded more than $13.1 million by a Superior Court jury.
Hannah Nguyen, 54, was leaving California Commerce Casino when a casino bus struck her in a parking lot crosswalk on Aug. 23, 2000.
Nguyen suffered severe brain damage. She is confined to a wheelchair, is legally blind and has a feeding tube in her stomach, said attorney Edward Steinbrecher.
