Death Certificate for Ex-Beatle Is Corrected

Share

George Harrison’s death certificate was corrected Monday to a Los Angeles address after an investigation by the district attorney’s office.

The death certificate, filed with the L.A. County Department of Health Services after the former Beatle’s death in November, listed a fictitious Coldwater Canyon Avenue address in Beverly Hills.

The address was filed by a consultant with Gavin De Becker & Associates, a security firm acting on behalf of the Harrison family.

“This was a good-faith error,” De Becker said. “When we learned of it on Dec. 4, we began the correction process.”
