50 Dual-Fuel Trash Trucks to Be Purchased
Los Angeles is buying 50 dual-fuel trash trucks for the Valley after a successful pilot program with 10 of the cleaner-burning vehicles.
The City Council agreed Tuesday to accept $1.3 million in state grants to cover the difference between the cost of diesel-only trucks and those that use diesel and cleaner liquefied natural gas.
