D.A. Told to Reinstate Fired Office Manager
An office manager fired three years ago by Orange County Dist. Atty. Tony Rackauckas has been ordered reinstated with full back pay.
Rackauckas fired Karen Davis shortly after he took office in 1999, citing her use of office computers and staff on her husband’s political campaign.
An arbitrator ruled that the discipline was excessive and Davis should be reinstated. Back pay and benefits could exceed $300,000, according to her attorney, William J. Hadden.
