Fired Office Manager Ordered Reinstated

An office manager fired three years ago by Orange County Dist. Atty. Tony Rackauckas has been ordered reinstated with full back pay.
Rackauckas fired Karen Davis shortly after he took office in 1999, citing her use of office computers and staff on her husband’s political campaign. An arbitrator ruled the discipline excessive and ordered Davis reinstated. Her back pay and benefits could exceed $300,000, said lawyer William J. Hadden.
