Junior forward Brian Jackson, Oregon State’s second-leading scorer, left the team on Wednesday, the second player to leave the program in three days.

Jackson, who averaged 11.7 points, followed junior guard Jimmie Haywood, who left the team Monday, citing personal reasons.

“Brian indicated to me that he was leaving because he desired more of a heightened role in our offensive scheme,” Coach Ritchie McKay said.
