Father Charged With Murder of 5 Children

A Pico Rivera man was charged Monday with murdering five of his six children by lighting a barbecue grill inside his house.
Adair Javier Garcia, 30, who also was charged with the attempted murder of the daughter who survived, is scheduled to be arraigned today in Whittier Superior Court.
Garcia was arrested Friday after his release from a Whittier hospital.
