Executive Named to FBI’s L.A. Office

Jana D. Monroe, 47, a veteran FBI official based in Denver, was appointed Monday as a special agent in charge at the agency’s Los Angeles field office.
A former probation and police officer, Monroe worked as an investigator in the FBI’s field offices in Tampa, Fla., San Diego and Washington, D.C. She also held management positions in the FBI’s behavioral science, investigative support and investigative analysis units before assignment to Denver as an assistant special agent in charge.
