In a move that could help win regulatory approval for its planned merger with AT&T; Broadband, cable operator Comcast Corp. is offering a choice of Internet service providers.

Customers in the Indianapolis and the Nashville areas will have the option of subscribing to Comcast’s own high-speed broadband service or that of a competitor, United Online Inc. The cable TV provider said it would offer service from United Online, which owns ISPs NetZero and Juno, in those two cities in the next three months.
