Teenager Shot to Death Near Education Center

A teenage boy died shortly after he was shot Tuesday in front of the West Valley Communication Education Center, authorities said.
Sgt. Rick Webb of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Division said it was not known whether the victim, who was shot in the chest about 1:40 p.m., was a student at the county probation school at 22142 Sherman Way. The name of the teen was not released.
Authorities said two young males are being sought in connection with the shooting.
