Body of Woman Missing 6 Days Found in Surf
The body of a Long Beach woman missing for six days was found Tuesday afternoon in the surf off Redondo Beach, and a spokesman for the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said Wednesday that the death has been ruled a suicide.
Jerry Antoinette Taylor, 47, had left a note at home before she disappeared that had the phrase, “The world would be better off without me.” Later, her pickup truck was found parked near the Manhattan Beach pier.
Taylor was the wife of Ronald Brown, a division chief with the Los Angeles County public defender’s office.
