Experts Probe Source of Mercury in Lake’s Fish

MARIPOSA —
Scientists suspect chronic sewage spills and polluted runoff are elevating levels of toxic mercury in bass and catfish in Lake Natoma.
Investigators said they were surprised by evidence of a potential link between the amount of mercury in the fish and development in Folsom.
