Afghans Meeting to Elect Representatives
Southern California Afghans will meet Sunday to elect community representatives.
Those attending the meeting, set for 1 p.m. at the Pacific Hills Banquet Hall, 23551 Moulton Parkway, will choose a 10-member executive board. Those elected will be part of a 40-member national council. Afghans and Afghan Americans from across Southern California may nominate themselves or others to the council.
