Levi Strauss & Co. expects to incur an additional $20 million to $25 million in restructuring-related expenses over the next 12 to 18 months, according to its quarterly report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Levi Strauss also said it expects improved sales performance in the second half of fiscal 2002 because of bookings and product orders, the expected effect of new product introductions, steps it is taking to improve margins for its retailers, and its planned use of targeted promotional initiatives.
