A third fund has been established for the family of Yaakov Aminov, one of the victims of the July 4 shootings at the El Al Israel Airlines ticket counter at Los Angeles International Airport.

Aminov’s wife, Anat, is expecting their sixth child. Aminov, of Valley Village, also was the father of three children from a previous marriage. The five youngest children range in age from 1 to 9.

Friends said Aminov, 46, a diamond importer who owned a jewelry distribution company in downtown Los Angeles, was the family’s sole financial support.

“[Anat Aminov] is struggling with the idea that she is now a single mother of five children,” said Rabbi Aron Tendler, who has known the family for several years. “The money will help pay for the children’s long-term education and other needs.”

Family and friends established the third fund this week, Tendler said. All three funds eventually will be combined and overseen by a single administrator.

Donations can be made to the Aminov Fund/Anat Aminov account, Bank of America, Valley Plaza Branch, 6600 Laurel Canyon Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91607.

Two bank accounts previously were opened at Bank Leumi, 16530 Ventura Blvd., Encino, CA 91436; and National Bank of California, 14724 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, CA 91403.

Two synagogues also will forward contributions to the family: Yad Avraham synagogue, 12426 Burbank Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91607; and Shaarey Zedek synagogue, 12800 Chandler Blvd., Valley Village, CA 91607.

A fund also has been established in memory of Victoria Hen, 25, of Chatsworth, a second victim in the LAX shooting. Contributions may be made to the Vicky Hen Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank, account No. 1014243982.

Joseph Knoller, a spokesman for the Hen family, said the fund will be used to establish a children’s library in the San Fernando Valley in Victoria’s name.
