More Gore in 2004
Re “Will the Real Al Gore Please Sit Down,” by Crispin Sartwell, Commentary, July 5: All I have to say is, Mr. Sartwell, please sit down and shut up! Al Gore should come out fighting for all of us who voted for him and were silenced by the Supreme Court. I believe that there is a silent majority out here (beyond the Beltway) just waiting and being patient for the 2004 elections. Nothing the Republicans can do will keep us from the polls this time. So go out there, Al Gore. Pay no attention to this kind of diatribe--and fight for us, who feel cheated. We haven’t forgotten and won’t forget.
