City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo on Thursday nominated the Rev. Cecil L. “Chip” Murray to serve on the city’s Ethics Commission.

If approved by the council, Murray--pastor of Los Angeles First African Methodist Episcopal Church--will replace secession supporter David Flemming on the five-member panel. Flemming, who Delgadillo placed on the commission last year, quit about a month ago.
