Voucher Revision
I’ve often heard it said that private schools do a better job of educating our kids than the public schools do. If so, I’m for a revised version of school vouchers. Don’t give vouchers to the bright and motivated kids who do well in the public schools, give them to the slow-learning and unruly kids.
Since the private schools are better and can give each student more attention, let them prove themselves with the least-motivated students rather than the best of the crop. That way, the slow learner gets more attention and hopefully achieves higher grades, while the good student will no longer be held back by the slow pace and unruly disruptions that exist in the classrooms now.
