Man Arrested at CBS; Car Full of Guns Found

A man was arrested Friday after he tried to enter a CBS studios parking lot in a car containing rifles, handguns and ammunition, police said. The man’s intentions were unclear, detectives said.
Security guards stopped the man before he could make it inside “Television City.” Investigators said the man, whose name was not released, had worked as a stagehand on the show “American Idol.”
Security at the Fairfax District facility already had been tightened after a four-hour standoff involving an armed man May 28.
