Church, Cancer Society to Hold Health Forum

Bethel AME Church, along with the American Cancer Society, is holding a forum Saturday to provide men with information about prostate cancer during the Father’s Day weekend.

Several oncologists, a urologist, a dietitian and a prostate cancer survivor will speak during the event. Topics to be covered include risk factors, preventive programs, nutrition and exercise.

Men of all ages are encouraged to attend the free forum, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church, 855 South F St. Breakfast will be provided at 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.
