Dead Newborn Found at Waste Disposal Facility

A dead newborn girl was found among garbage at a waste disposal company Monday, authorities said.
Employees at Athens Disposal Services were processing trash on a conveyer belt when one saw the body with umbilical cord attached, sheriff’s officials said.
Officials said they don’t know where the trash came from, but were certain that it was picked up Monday.
