Posters Pulled Over Terror Concerns

Starbucks Corp. pulled a promotional poster from more than 3,000 retail outlets over concerns the picture of drinks side by side might inappropriately recall the Sept. 11 attacks.
The posters show two tea drinks with a dragonfly hovering to the left and the slogan “Collapse Into Cool.”
Starbucks pulled the posters June 7 after being contacted by a New York Post reporter investigating a reader’s complaint. The company said it had intended no link between the image of the beverages and the terror attacks.
