PBS Gives Burns a Slot in U.S. History

After supplying PBS with some of its most memorable programs in recent years, filmmaker Ken Burns is being rewarded with a weekly prime-time slot to reshow some of his documentaries about U.S. history. “Ken Burns American Stories” will launch Sept. 30.
