New Schools Needed

Share

Re “The Lost Year,” editorial, Feb. 25: I was a student at a multitrack school, and losing a whole year of school really surprised me. I already knew that we had fewer days in school but longer hours; I never thought that in the long run it would add up to a year.

This struggle to build new schools has been going on for years, but I still see nothing happening. If the government really was worried and concerned about the students, action should have taken place right away. There is all this talk about a budget and having enough funds to build new schools.

The government should start to build now.
