Indicted Hells Angels leader George Christie Jr., who is being held under house arrest on drug and racketeering charges, will be allowed to attend his mother’s funeral.
Christie, 54, obtained a court order permitting him to attend the services this week. He will be escorted by his attorney.
Christie, his ex-wife, their 25-year-old son and several members of the Ventura chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle club were indicted last year. Christie spent 11 months in jail before posting $1 million bond in January. Under the terms of his release, he cannot leave his Ventura residence except to attend court appearances.
Georgia Christie died last week of complications of pancreatic cancer. She was 82.
