A 39-year-old man kidnapped his estranged wife and their two daughters from their Lomita home with the aid of his teenage son from a previous marriage and another accomplice, authorities said Thursday.

Jose Delacruz, his 19-year-old son, Alejo Delacruz, and another man took Adriana Galindo, 27, and her children from a home in the 24800 block of Woodward Avenue near Pacific Coast Highway about 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, said Sheriff’s Lt. Cathy Renner.

Jose Delacruz forced Galindo and their girls, Ariane Delacruz, 1, and Gypsy Delacruz, 3, into a black 1995 Chevrolet Suburban and drove away, Renner said.

Jose Delacruz has a history of spousal abuse, authorities said, and they fear for the safety of Galindo and her children.

“He’s been heard in the past saying, ‘If I can’t have you, nobody will,’” Sgt. Randolph Springer said.

Jose Delacruz is 5 feet 7, weighs about 185 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants. His son is 5 feet 6 and weighs 145 pounds. No description was available for the third suspect.

The Suburban’s California license plate is 4MIT716.

Anyone with information may call the sheriff’s Lomita station at (310) 539-1661.
