Sony Developing Tiny Vaio Computer

Sony Corp. said it was developing the world’s smallest personal computer that would run on Microsoft Corp.’s latest software, combining the convenience of a notebook computer with the flexibility of a hand-held PC. Vaio U has a button on the upper end of a keyboard that enables users to operate the computer with the thumbs. The prototype has a hard-disk drive but no slots for compact discs or DVDs.
