4 Men Plead Not Guilty in Cargo Theft Sting
Four men pleaded not guilty Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court to conspiracy charges stemming from an undercover sting operation that targeted cargo theft rings, prosecutors said.
Guillermo Aguilar, 30; Guadalupe Lopez Gamez, 26; Enrique Virgen Medina, 25; and Julio Virgen Medina, 26, were among eight people arrested last week in connection with the sting, begun four years ago. It used a Paramount warehouse as a front and dismantled four gangs involved in the thefts of tractor-trailers and cargo containers in Southern California.
