Choose Your Chowder

Some people like red clam chowder, some like white. Jimmy’s Fish Market in Long Beach sells both kinds: a spicy red chowder and a mild, creamy white chowder. Jimmy’s also makes a chowder loaf--a scooped-out round of sourdough filled with whichever chowder you prefer. Or you can leave the loaf whole and serve it on the side.
