Man Arrested in Fight Over Parking Space
A Chandler, Ariz., man was hospitalized after being knocked down during an argument over a parking space at the Irvine Spectrum on Saturday night, police said.
George Vonglis, 79, fell to the ground and suffered major head trauma, said Irvine Police Sgt. Sam Allevato. Jeffrey Miller, 55, of Mission Viejo was arrested and charged with felony assault and battery. He is being held at Orange County Jail.
Vonglis, who was initially in critical condition, is improving and is expected to be released in a few days, Allevato said.
