Stray Bullet in Gunfight Kills Video Store Owner

The owner of a Koreatown video store was killed by a stray bullet fired during a dispute between several men in an adjacent parking lot early Friday, police said.
The gunfire erupted about 2 a.m. outside the shop in the 3600 block of Wilshire Boulevard, LAPD Officer Alex Baez said. A shot aimed at one of the men in the karaoke club parking lot struck Jim Kim inside his shop. Kim, 44, died at the scene.
The gunman and others in the parking lot fled before police arrived, Baez said.
