Royal Airport Buys Century Blvd. Office Building

Beverly Hills-based Royal Airport bought a 209,186-square-foot office building at 5933 W. Century Blvd. in Los Angeles from Royal Investment System Partnership for $13 million. Kevin Shannon and Chris Sinfield of Grubb & Ellis represented the buyer and the seller, along with Tim Vaughan and Dave Smith of CB Richard Ellis.

Passco Real Estate Enterprises Inc. acquired the 84,812-square-foot Jeronimo Business Center at 25800 Jeronimo Road in Mission Viejo from Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. for $12.3 million. Ken Barry of CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer and the seller.

Los Angeles-based Scriba Investment bought the 68,378-square-foot Harborgate office building at 1025 190th St. in Gardena from Pacifica Capital Group of Marina del Rey for $10.3 million. Kevin Shannon and Steve Offenbecher of Grubb & Ellis represented the buyer and the seller.

Sares-Regis Group of Irvine bought a 21-acre site at the southeast corner of Lakeland and Bloomfield avenues in Santa Fe Springs from Cenco Electric Co. and plans to develop a three-building, 450,000-square-foot business park on the property, according to Peter Rooney, president of the commercial investment division at Sares-Regis. Laird Perkins of CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer and the seller. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but industry sources said the land was sold for slightly more than $10 million.

Owensmouth LLC bought an 80,000-square-foot office building at 6800 Owensmouth Ave. in Canoga Park from Arden Realty Inc. for $8.4 million. Tony Principe of Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services represented the buyer. The seller was represented by Ron Wade, Mark Leonard and Matt Heyn of Cushman & Wakefield.

Moorpark Venture of San Diego bought a 115,539-square-foot office building on 10 acres of land at 200 Science Drive in Moorpark from Parker-Hannifin Corp. for $7.3 million. Bram White and Ed Rouse of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller. The buyer was represented by John Gibson, an independent broker.

Corsair of Beverly Hills bought the 98,000-square-foot Shoppes at Fontana shopping center at 16055-16095 Foothill Blvd. in Fontana for $7.3 million from Foot Center Associates. Bob Hoyt of Colliers Seeley International represented the seller. Gregory Brown and Edward Hanley of Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer.
