Theft From Health Care Agency Is Investigated

The Orange County sheriff’s fraud unit is investigating the theft of more than $15,700 from an office of the county’s Health Care Agency.
The loss occurred at the agency’s 17th Street facility between September 1999 and April 2000.
Once the investigation is completed, the information will go to the district attorney’s office, authorities said.
