Superintendent Seeks Artists to Teach Classes
The Ventura County superintendent of schools office is seeking artists to teach children in grades one through eight as part of its Artist-in-the-Classroom program.
The job pays $30 an hour and offers eight-week residencies in schools throughout the county. Applicants must have an arts degree and some teaching experience. Those interested are asked to send a resume and description of an ideal eight-week residency to Brian Bemel, Ventura County superintendent of schools office, 570 Airport Way, Camarillo, CA 93010.
