This revival of Archibald MacLeish’s 1959 Pulitzer Prize-winning retelling of the Book of Job achieves considerable impact courtesy of striking staging, an exuberant cast and inevitable post-9/11 relevance, all of which offset the plummy excesses of the free-verse script. The cast includes Michael Goorjian, sitting on the floor, and from left, Jeff Maynard, Maury Sterling and Kevin Weisman. Presented by Buffalo Nights Theatre Company.
