IBM Eliminates More Than 700 Jobs

In what is expected to be the beginning of a spate of long-feared layoffs, more than 700 employees at IBM Corp. plants across the United States were told that their jobs will be eliminated. Included in the cuts were more than 200 jobs in San Jose.
