Quality Systems Reports Rise in Quarter Income

Quality Systems Inc., a Tustin maker of medical records and management software, reported net income of $1.5 million, or 24 cents a share, for its fiscal fourth quarter, up from $1.2 million, or 19 cents a share, for last year’s final three months.

Revenue rose 12% to $12 million for the quarter ended March 31.

For the year, Quality Systems earned $5.3 million, or 84 cents a share, a 51% increase over $3.5 million, or 57 cents a share, earned the previous year. Annual sales rose 11% to $44.4 million.
