Police Overtime Suit Settled for $6.7 Million

The City Council agreed to pay $6.7 million to settle a lawsuit that accused the Police Department of failing to pay overtime.
The settlement will go to more than 500 officers who claimed the department violated the federal Fair Labor Standards Act by not paying overtime.
