Bruins’ Running Back Is in Mint Condition

Share

In reply to Jean Amundson’s concern [Viewpoint, Nov. 2] over whether or not the “proper” example was conveyed by Tyler Ebell and his eight teammates when they took “free” mints from a restaurant located on the pier in Ventura, you missed the point. If you were from the area, not Ridgecrest, you would probably have more to work with. No free mints here. At my cost, Tyler took his five offensive linemen, tight end and two fullbacks to an all-you-can-eat dinner at that fine pier restaurant. The cost: $650 to me, priceless for them. Also, breakfast burritos every Saturday morning at the mandatory film session.

Take it from someone who knows best, they earned every bit of it, the CIF championship and the free mints. As for the pier restaurant, they loved it!
