Ex-Attorney Charged in Impersonation Case
From Times Staff Reports
A former Los Angeles attorney was charged Wednesday with inducing a friend to impersonate a business associate and lie at her State Bar disciplinary hearing.
Angela Fawn Wallace, 41, is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. She is awaiting trial in an unrelated embezzlement case and, according to Inglewood police, remains a murder suspect.
Prosecutors say Wallace stole $380,000 in proceeds from a life insurance policy of two young men who had been shot to death.
