Bank Offers Reward for Information on Robber

From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Wells Fargo Bank is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man believed to be behind 11 bank robberies in Orange County since July, police said Friday.

The robber, dubbed the “20K Bandit” because he allegedly demanded exactly $20,000 in the first robbery, has hit nine banks in five cities. Two Wells Fargo branches were held up twice.
