Marijuana User With Prescription Arrested
From Times Wire Reports
A patient who used marijuana for medical reasons has been arrested for having too much pot.
Todd Gellman, 40, was arrested last week after a raid by sheriff’s deputies. They said 33 pounds of packaged marijuana was found along with 70 plants growing in two homes.
Gellman had a valid doctor’s prescription for marijuana, said Kim Allyn of the Sheriff’s Department.
Valerie Corral of the county’s leading pot cooperative says Gellman was not a member.
