From Times Wire Reports

A Hamptons real estate broker who took her Jeep to an auto body shop, saying she had hit a deer, was charged in a hit-and-run accident that killed a farm worker last week, police said.

The owner of the Southampton repair shop called police Thursday after Leslie Jennemann, 44, came in to have her badly damaged Jeep repaired, police said.

The vehicle matched a description of the one that hit Henry Anthony Yarrell and drove away shortly before midnight Wednesday. Yarrell, 38, died at the scene.
