Police Seek Riotous Fans After Football Victory

From Times Wire Reports

Police reviewed video footage to try to identify more people who overturned cars and pelted officers with bottles and rocks after Ohio State’s football victory over the University of Michigan.

Fans set more than 100 street fires in Columbus while celebrating after a 14-9 victory Saturday, police said. The victory completed an unbeaten regular season for the Buckeyes and clinched a spot in the national championship game.

Police arrested 49 people, mainly on charges of underage drinking or having open alcoholic beverage containers.
