Weight an Issue for 60% in U.S., Poll Finds

People who feel a little guilty digging into those holiday meals can take comfort in the knowledge that they’re not alone.
Almost 6 in 10 Americans say they would like to lose weight, according to a Gallup poll. Two-thirds of women felt that way, while half of men did.
The poll of 1,001 adults was taken Nov. 11 to 14 and has an error margin of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
